Winter time we have to stay on top of the DE filters too! . With the dips in temperature we see less algae growth but filters still get clogged and flow can slow. To avoid this becoming a bigger issue than necessary be sure to backwash your DE filters every 1-3 months or once the pressure rises 10psi from when it’s clean, and recharge with some fresh DE.
